The Crunch

My friends and I have been making desktop and mobile web apps for a few years now.  Basically, HTML/CSS/JavasScript websites that behave more like applications then a webpage.  With smartphones came mobile a platform for native apps like the iPhone App Store.. but when the very first iPhone came out even Apple the king of “app stores” was pushing web apps as the way for developers to expand functionality of the devices.

Recently we have been working really hard to make mobile web apps that look and work as well as native apps.  I think we’re doing a pretty good job and they’re very quick to make.  But sometimes you really need to get into the nitty gritty of native applications and thus we are.. going native.
